Manipulating individual notes in recorded music →
Someone has created software that allows you to modify individual notes within recorded music, like you would do with MIDI.  That means you can modify a strummed chord on a guitar by editing individual notes within that chord.  I’m no audio engineer, but that’s insane.  The video is long, but very cool to watch for a few minutes.  Via hilker:syzlak

2008 M3 Coupe being marked up to $100,000 →
The new M3 coupe is being marked up to $100k.  That is asinine.  I’ve driven the last generation M3, as well as the one before that.  They’re great cars.  However, they’re not $100k great.  Yet another reason why despite being the “Ultimate Driving Machine”, I doubt I’ll ever drive a bimmer.
