What you’re seeing is a new ad blocker I just installed. It is called GlimmerBlocker and in 1 day of usage seems to work well, even with 64-bit Safari in Snow Leopard.
For the geeks, it works by acting as a local proxy server for all applications, as shown above. This has the advantage of not relying on InputManager Hacks, and thus, will always stay functional across Safari upgrades. It also works for Firefox, naturally, since it’s a system-wide HTTP proxy.
I recommend it.
