… One of the interesting benefits of being a Phish fan is that you can download official, legal, high-quality, DRM-free soundboard recordings of nearly every show they perform from here for reasonable prices — and they’re typically available within a few hours of the end of the show. I was able to download this concert by the time I got home from attending it.
We’ve been over this before, and while the difference between DMB and Phish is that the former is fan-driven and microphones above the audience, Phish is straight off the soundboard. This is nothing but a good thing, no matter how you slice it. It’s what has kept me a DMB fan for all this time.
