First Post-Switch Impressions
Good:
- Setup took no time
- Only one update/reboot
- I don’t really miss the TrackPoint as much as I expected
- I don’t miss the right mouse button as much as I expected
- The hardware really is just… nice.
- I just discovered equivalents for home/end/etc.
- Immediately discovered Windows/Samba shares on my server
Bad
- Page Up & Page Down?
- I wish the screen would open a little further
- Stupid microscopic screws.
- I wish I had a USB port on the right side so I didn’t have to stretch my mouse cable to its breaking point. Then again, I suppose it’s just time for a bluetooth mouse.
- Um……
So far, so good. Today’s mission (after work): VMWare Fusion and Microsoft Office
