The real message here seems to be, “We have no idea what we’re doing.”
And that’s certainly coming through clearly.
I do agree; I don’t entirely get it. Best explanation I’ve heard is that it’s a commercial about nothing, a-la Seinfeld. That being said, I’m linking this myself mostly so you can skip to the last 30 seconds or so and see Bill Gates attempt to do The Robot. Yes, as in the dance. Awesome.
They also get a bonus point for adding “inheritance” and “polymorphism” into a mainstream commercial. The geek/programmer in me cheered.
